Stefania

Stefania is a Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, and Continuing Education Provider Born in Italy, Stefania’s love for India began from her first trip in 2006. She started her studies and practice of Naturopathy in 1997 in Italy, where she later owned an herbal store. On completing her studies, she started teaching Naturopathy in different schools in Italy, and also grew interested in Ayurveda & Yoga Therapy, especially for women. In 2002 she began her studies in Yoga and trained in traditional Hatha Yoga, Tao Yoga and Kundalini Yoga. In 2006 her life changed when she met Yogi Ram as under his mentorship, she developed an honest approach to the science and discipline of Yoga and Meditation. She is also a disciple of Swami Hanuman Giri, who is Yogi Ram’s mentor. She has become so immersed in the yogic lifestyle and Indian culture that she has learnt Hindi and Sanskrit, in her quest to deepen research and also to better mediate between the Western and Eastern cultures. Yogi Ram is a Yoga Alliance Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher, and Continuing Education Provider Yogi Ram, the founder of Himalayan Yog Ashram, was born in Rishikesh and raised in a traditional Hindu Brahmin family where he gained the knowledge of Indian traditions as a part of his life. Since he was fortunate to grow up in the company of saints and Yogis, so at a very young age, he felt a strong urge to delve deeper into the mysteries of nature and life. The turning point that drove him towards a holistic yogic life took place in his early twenties. Scott is authorized to teach the primary and intermediate series of ashtanga yoga by Manju Jois. Scott is co-founder of Amāyu Yoga, a new Ashtanga Yoga organisation that educates practitioners on student empowerment and shared powers dynamics. Scott has also undergone extensive training with Clear Mind Institute, gaining their level 3 certificate in Mindfulness and Compassion. Scott teaches with encouragement, insight, and integrity to the ashtanga yoga lineage he has had access to.
