You will be completely cared for in a clean, safe environment at WHY Retreat. Your reset retreat will allow you time to take a breath, stop the clock for 5 days and unwind the tension. You will leave feeling positive and relaxed with a new lease on life. Your package includes 4 nights’ accommodation (private room or bring a friend and share your room), breakfast, lunch and dinner as well as all the activities. Meals are vegetarian, freshly made with produce sourced locally and other dietary requirements can be catered for. If you would like to book a massage this can be arranged for an extra cost.

Naren Ji

Naren is a mechanical engineering graduate and has had stints in corporate and startups. Taking a break from his start-up he started to travel across the country with the intention to experience whatever was on offer, many times it was unconscious with just a need for moving. Being close to Nature and varying landscapes along with the practice of Yoga were the source of building awareness of existence. It was enough to give the feeling of contentment temporarily. These travels instigated an exploration of the scriptures, primarily the Upanishads. Also, he was drawn into a childhood interest of writing the experiences in the form of narratives. He narrates – “In one of my travels, on a full moon night, I sat on the hills of Tiruvannamalai, soaked in the vision of the silhouette of the grand temple and the hills accompanied by a cool breeze. The plan was to sit and remove all thoughts from the mind and sit simply with no other agenda. I even had a flask of tea and couple of fruits in case I got hungry or weary.

  2. 7.30 – 9.00 am: Asana Practice (Hatha & Ashtanga)
  3. 9.00 – 10.00 am: Breakfast
  4. 10.00 – 11.00 am: Alignment, adjustment
  5. 1.00 – 2.00 pm: Lunch
  6. 2.00 – 3.00 pm: Self Study/Self Care
  7. 3.00 – 3.45 pm: Free Time
  8. 4.00 – 4.30 pm: Yoga Nidra (Optional)
  9. 4.30 – 6.00 pm: Teaching practice
  10. 7.00 – 8.00 pm: Dinner
  11. 8.30 – 9.30 pm: Sharing and question and answer, night meditation, live music concerts, watching your teaching practice or Yoga Movie on screen. (this is only alternate days) (Optional)
